The Factory

A mezzanine space that allows people to watch the workshop confectioner and see on live birth of these small 13.6 grams calissons that combine the almond of Provence, Cavaillon melon and candied orange from Apt … So many ingredients that punctuate a ride that takes us from one specialty to another one, between nougats and calissons, almond trees and beehives.
Observe the almond blossom and gestures of the harvest, meet the raw materials and production steps to the virtual manufacturing calisson.
In this place, suspended between the past and present, traveling from one era to another, from one season to another, to the flowering almond trees whose flowers bloom on a giant screen, to gestures harvest placed on images in very large formats, from an old crusher tool that allows us to produce in real time a batch of real calissons.

The Museum

This journey to the land of the Aix en Provence calisson invites us to see, to hear, to touch, to smell, to taste … In this place, suspended between past and present, we move from one era to another, from one season to another, flowering almond trees whose flowers bloom on a giant screen , gestures harvest laid on images in very large formats, to an old crusher tool that allows us to produce in real time a batch of real calissons .
